SPECTRO ARCOS ICP-OES Precious Metals Analyzer

The new SPECTRO ARCOS ICP-OES analyzer represents a new pinnacle of productivity and performance for inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometers.

The SPECTRO ARCOS ICP-OES excels in industrial and academic applications for the most advanced elemental analysis of metals, chemicals, petrochemicals, and other materials.

Its unique new MultiView Plasma Interface option provides truly uncompromising axial-view and radial-view plasma observation in a single instrument. The periscope-free MultiView mechanism lets an operator literally “turn” a radial-view instrument into an axial-view device or vice-versa, in 90 seconds or less.

The SPECTRO ARCOS ICP-OES can be used as a complementary or alternative technique to Fire Assay to analyse high purity Gold and Gold Alloys. This technique eliminates all the problems associated with the Fire Assay Method. The instrument is simultaneous measuring instrument which analyses all elements of interest in one single run. If the sample contains ‘unknown’ elements then it can be scanned first to know which elements are presents and calibration of these elements can be included in the method to analyse all elements simultaneously thus improving the accuracy even further. The SPECTRO ARCOS limits of detection of all elements are in PPB (Parts Per Billion) therefore the instrument never misses any element detection. Besides it is possible to store complete spectrum of every sample for re-processing in future or for records.

SPECTRO ARCOS is available in three version viz. Multi View (MV), only Radial View and only Axial View.
